Biography:

Hello my name is Joe Ernst and I am excited to tee off as the boys and girls golf coach at Mountain View High School starting in the 22/23 school year. This opportunity feels like a hole in one! I am currently in my second year of teaching at Mountain View, where I am a science teacher. I have been coaching girls high school soccer for the past ten years, and I am anxious to bring my passion for coaching, golf and our students to this role. After graduating from Colorado State University with my undergraduate degree in 2004, my wife and I lived in the mountains and traveled the world as winter sports enthusiasts. We returned to the front range in 2013 where we started a family, I have a son in 2nd grade and a daughter in kindergarten; and returned to CSU to earn my masters in education. If I haven't said it yet, GO RAMS! When not in the classroom being outside is par for the course for me. I can usually be found in the mountains or with a golf club in hand.
